2005

A very good year with a New Champion and 5 CCs won by 3 different Corydons.
The new champion is CH. CORYDON MADCHEN who won her Challenge Certificates at National Working and Pastoral Breeds under Mrs B Banbury, at Leeds under Birgitt Hayward and at Midland Counties under John Walsh from Ireland. She also won a Reserve CC at East Anglian Collie Association under Mrs Penwarne.
CH PHREELANCER PHROSTY MOON OVER CORYDON won his 32nd and last CC at Yorkshire Collie Club under Geoff Duffield. He was 9 years and 6 monthsold at the time. It is likely to be a long time before this record is broken. He also won 2 Reserve CCs the first at National Working and Pastoral Breeds, and second at Leeds.
Our third CC winner of the year was AQUALITA CLASS ACT AT CORYDON who won at The Collie Association under Hazel Hunt. Interestingly this was the first CC we had won at this Club after over 50 years of showing there. He also won a Reserve CC at Midland Counties. So during the year we won the CC and Reserve
CC at 3 different shows. Quite a record. We also started showing a nice bitch called Corydon Fancy Me. She won her Junior Warrant but did not get any big awards. She had two litters, both sired by Ch Demelewis Dark Moon Drifting Over Corydon. A total of eight puppies five of which became Champions. These included three International Champions. A wonderful record for any bitch.
