1964

A steady year for showing. CORYDON BELLA DONNA won Best in Show at East Anglian Collie Association Sanction Show with Kath Jeffries as the judge. She won another 4 Best of Breed awards at All Breed Shows.
We did no breeding at all during the year, and in fact we had to wait until 1966 before we started breeding again.
We did start to show the first son of Bella Donna. She had been mated to Ch Deloraine Don Juan. We quite liked this Champion dog, but Corydon Don Jose just did not make it. So he ended up in a pet home and a fireside.
CORYDON ISA BELLA went to Crufts under Bob Davies and managed to win 3rd prize in Special Beginners, which I think was the best result at this show for us up to then. There were 28 entered for this class so we were very satisfied.

CH PATTINGHAM PACEMAKER was Best of Breed at Crufts ad he went on to win the Non-Sporting Group, the only Rough Collie ever to have won a Group at Crufts Show.
